If you’re in the market for a new season suit, wool might be the answer

When it comes to finding the perfect timeless pieces for your wardrobe, that quest surely starts and ends with a suit. A piece of menswear that’ll never be out of style, the suit has been in circulation since King Charles II set the sartorial standard in the 17th century.

Since then, we’ve seen iteration after iteration but one thing remains true: there’s perhaps nothing as stylish, classic and versatile as a beautifully-fitting, well-made suit. And for autumn, we’ve got a fresh take on tradition.

Salt & Pepper Suiting

Our new-in salt and pepper two piece is made with up to 100% wool, giving it a warmer and heavier makeover which means that it can be worn right through autumn and winter and then worn again and again as the years go by. Wool can be hefty and structured, but we’ve made sure that our suit is comfortable and roomy, so that you’ll want to wear it occasion after occasion. We’ve added a drop shoulder and a cotton lining to keep things fluid and never stiff and our trousers crafted with a pleat down the centre of the leg, there to sharpen things up and perfect for wearing with the jacket or as a standalone with a chunky jumper and overcoat.

Go for Gold in Classic Navy

Our navy suit has been made with cotton and cashmere to create an ultra-soft and comfortable outfit that can be worn from day to night and separated out so that the jacket and trousers can be worn separately. We’ve added a slightly brushed flannel texture to this suit, making it more casual and adding a point of difference to our pure wool version. We love deconstructing this two-piece and dressing it up with a shirt and our new season Harris Tweed overcoat for an important occasion, or down with a white T-shirt and trainers for a more laid back look.
